Pink Ball 2011 Benefits OSF Cancer Center

The 57th Annual OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center Pink Ball was held at Giovanni's Restaurant and Conference Center on Saturday, January 29, 2011.  A gourmet dinner, music and dancing were part of the premier black-tie event.  The winter wonderland theme was reflected in the glistening white trees and miniature lights.

Entertainment was provided by Shining Star, an eight-piece band from Scottsdale, AZ, with lead singer Jodi Light.

The Pink Ball is more than a party -- it is a way for caring members of our community to support a Mission that reaches out and provides care to thousands when they are most vulnerable.

Pink Ball has been a Rockford tradition for well over 50 years, supporting the Mission of OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center to provide the highest quality medical care to those who otherwise may not have access to such care.  Thanks to the generous support of sponsors and guests over the years, this event has provided millions of dollars furthering this Mission, which in turn, has supported countless fellow members of our community.

Many members of our community have been directly affected by cancer or know of someone who has.  In honor and recognition of the countless individuals affected by this disease, proceeds from the 57th Annual Pink Ball were earmarked to provide needed upgrades and support for the patients served by the OSF Center for Cancer Care.

We thank everyone who supported the 57th Annual Pink Ball and helped improve the lives of those affected by cancer.
