OSF Headache Clinic

 The Illinois Neurological Institute offers a headache clinic with specialists to help those who suffer from chronic or migraine headaches. Following evaluations, assessments, testing and diagnosis, patients make an appointment to meet with the headache and memory loss coordinator. By keeping headache diaries, patients will be able to learn what triggers their headaches, what help prevent them and what makes them less severe. The clinical nurse practitioner provides education, recommends prevention techniques, discusses medications and other therapies and assists with managing and controlling chronic and severe headaches.
